- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I will preface review by stating I need a pool for lap swimming for triathlon training. First, the pool is EXCEEDINGLY warm. This might be great for water aerobics but not for swimming laps (2500 yards). Second, NOT open on weekends during the summer. Third, only open three mornings, Monday, Wed and Friday. Swim team has pool from 4-6:30, closes at 1pm on Friday. In other words, VERY limited time to do laps and when one works for a living, times are very inconvenient. We recently relocated to the area and paid $450 for family prorated from June through the end of year. This is EXTREMELY expensive given the limitations as outlined above. If there was "any other game in town", ie place to swim laps, I would absolutely NOT join or swim at the Aquatic Center. Staff is however, very nice!!
