- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆You will have better luck job hunting on your own. If the person helping you doesn't like the way you look they won't really help you. For example if they think you live an alternative life style or if they don't like your style of dress or hair or if you have a bad criminal record you can forget it. On one visit I was helped by a white guy and he wanted to give me a hard time because he didn't believe I was a veteran, I guess because I wasn't an old white man I did fit his description of what a vet should look like. On another visit I overheard some other black ESC employees talking about me. I want even go back there. Also if they do find you a job it will likely be at Reser's Foods or Perdue.
